Yesterday, over 40 members of the CMLA and the National Muslim Law Students Association attending the Joint Annual Luncheon. Individuals who attended hailed from Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington D.C. The afternoon started with a brief introduction of the CMLA and introductions by all in the room. It was followed by lunch and mingling amongst the lawyers and law students in attendance. Among the topics discussed were possible advocacy ideas for the CMLA's Legal Advocacy Committee and a call out for ideas with respect to MLSA event in the early new year.
